AUBURN, Placer County — November 4, 2026, 12:16 a.m. Pacific. Three seats are at stake on the Auburn Union School District Board, with five named candidates in the reported race.
Official semi-official election-night results
Greg Holt 4,762, Liza Stefani 4,553, Renee Dowd-Grigsby 3,874, Jayson Wedge 3,397 and Keith Simmons 3,352 candidate selections. The third-place lead over the fourth-place candidate is 477 selections.
What the local contest means
Because up to three candidates can be selected, the reported percentages and selection totals are not the number of voters or districtwide participation rate. The qualifying margin is between third and fourth, not the gap between the first two. No seats are certified yet.
Why the results are not final
Placer County Elections lists this as its election-night semi-official report, data refreshed November 4 at 12:16 a.m. Pacific. The report states all assigned election-night precincts have reported in these races. However, further eligible mailed, provisional or otherwise verified ballots may be processed in the official canvass. The counts and rankings are not certified, and no November 5 post-election tally is claimed here.
