AUBURN, Placer County — November 3, 2026. The first reported results in Auburn’s election for three City Council seats placed Kelley Davis, Bridget Powers and Stephanie McKenzie in the top three positions. Erik Robb followed in fourth. Results from Election Night are preliminary.

Four candidates for three places

The Placer County Election Night roundup listed Kelley Davis with 1,705 candidate selections (30.69%), Bridget Powers with 1,636 (29.45%), Stephanie McKenzie with 1,553 (27.96%) and Erik Robb with 641 (11.54%). The percentages do not describe how many voters participated: residents could vote for up to three candidates.

How council representation affects Auburn

The City Council considers spending, public works, downtown services, land-use decisions and community development. The city’s ongoing work on its long-range general plan makes the composition of its council particularly relevant for future planning hearings.

What remains unresolved?

Placer County officials say Election Night figures are preliminary. Not every valid ballot is necessarily included in the initial totals, and the county plans additional reports during the canvass. The initial top three are not described here as certified officeholders.
